With UFFIZI you can discover the great masterpieces of Italian and European art, find your way around the rooms of the Gallery and plan your trip to Florence, having practical information about the museum constantly at your fingertips.

Giotto’s Madonna Enthroned, or Maestà, Botticelli’s Birth of Venus, Leonardo’s Annunciation, the Doni Tondo by Michelangelo, Raphael’s Madonna of the Goldfinch and the Medusa by Caravaggio are just a few of the masterpieces displayed in the Florentine museum.

The Parallelo “Uffizi” allows you to plan your visit and guides you through the rooms of the Gallery. It will enhance your understanding of the most famous paintings and statues, and enable you to remember the most beautiful works and take them with you wherever you go.

The application permits different types of “visit”, and the information is presented in a clear and simple format:

showing ALL the rooms and listing all the works, keeps you updated with the new arrangements.

describes ALL the works available (more then 1500), most of them with photos.
The top 100 must-see works also have a brief factsheet on the history and significance of each work.

For many years Parallelo has been in charge of the official website of the Uffizi and the other Florentine State museums (including the Accademia Gallery and the Pitti Palace), as well as dealing with their major IT projects regarding the cataloguing of the works of art, electronic documentation systems for the historic archive and the library, touch screen systems for exhibitions, and IT networks.

The app is very well planned and beautiful to see. Outstanding museum and app.

Fantastic app. I recommend it for the inclusion of significant works at the Uffizi as well as the excellent room map. The news feature is outstanding, it informs you which works are under restoration and unavailable for viewing. A nice thing to know in advance before going to the museum.

Its a bit difficult to navigate the GUI, and all the information listed in the app is verbatim listed next to the pieces in the museum so: not really any extra information. The videos are kinda cool, at least its all free. This is less of a guide and more of a "virtual" Uffizi.

This is a great app. However since the new update on July 10th it has started to crash my springboard. Please get this fixed so I can enjoy using it again. I have had this app for a few years ;(

The Uffizi is an amazing museum, and I had no idea how much this helped us plan what we could see and skip (sadly). DO PURCHASE TICKETS AHEAD REGARDLESS! The map feature lets you tap and see what is in which room. We were able to go directly to the rooms we wanted to see and make the most of our time with these amazing works of art! Good but brief notes on the artists and many works.

Some bad moments

I am a bit frustrated by these applications that run only with the latest version of the OS. If you have a good reason to NOT upgrade, then you lose your application or win a lot of trouble to upgrade the others!

All Rooms on picture disappear, my favorites disappear in my iPhone and iPad.

This app is useless if you are off-line. It has 255MB, but you must have data connection to download the pictures! Its a shame.

This app is just crap. Doesnt help you in any way Same texts as in the museum but more difficult to use. Waste if money.

This app just give you a useful map you may also get at the entrance. The information given in the descriptions is just a copy of the displayed text next to each painting. No further information nothing which takes you more into this. Get a good book on it or take a guided tour.

The app opens, but says " Updating..." And nothing happens. The support doesnt reply to the questions, very bad!
